FAQs

  • We will be opening very very soon in April :D

And when we do, we will operate Monday to Fridays 7:30am – 6:30pm.

  • If it is your pup’s First Day at daycare, they will need to be dropped off between 7:30-9:30am to make sure they have enough time to settle in and complete their Temperament Test.

All other dogs who have passed their Temperament Test can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am - 11am.

  • All dogs who would like to attend daycare must complete and pass their Temperament Test with us, which is done on their first day.

Just remember that daycare isn’t for all dogs. Some dogs might just be little homebodies and prefer to hang out with their humans. Or some might not be able to behave with all the nice doggy manners as expected of each dog that goes to daycare.

The Temperament Test helps us determine which dogs can follow the group rules which is to ensure the safety of all our staff and pooches.

  • All our pups must be up to date with their C5 vaccinations (which requires an annual booster), and desexed by 9 months old. If you have any queries about the desexing age, please get in touch!

  • Not all all! You can book and choose whichever days you’d like to bring your pooch in.

Bookings are required and can be done easily through our daycare portal.

  • We are not sizest or breedist when it comes to sorting our groups for the day! It is mostly dependant on the energy levels of all our doggos. For example, we would have all the energiser bunnies together so they can have a blast, while there would be another group for more of the chillers to hang and relax together.

  • If your pooch hasn’t been to daycare before, click the link on our Book In Page to create a client profile for yourself in our booking portal and pick a day for their Temperament Test (which will be their first day).

If your pup has already passed the Temperament Test, just login to your booking portal and schedule any days you’d like!

  • We want to create a safe space for all our doggies to play and have fun in, therefore a Temperament Test can help us determine which dogs are suitable for the daycare environment.

Our Temperament Test is a one-on-one session with your dog where we introduce one other dog at a time to make sure they all get along!

Once your pup passes their Temperament Test, they can stay afterwards for some extra play! You can choose from our 3 hour / Half day / Full daycare options after the Temperament Test is complete!

    * It is a recommended for your pup to stay a minimum of 3 hours after the Temp test is finished so that they can properly settle in and experience daycare!

    What do we test?

We test how your pup goes one-on-one with different dogs of different sizes, sexes and personality types to make sure that they can all get along!

We also test out how your pup can take treats within the group environment and make sure that everyone can share nicely.

Some behaviours that we don't accept at the centre due to the risk they pose within the group environment are:

    - Excessive barking or humping due to the increasing intensity levels of the group. We always aim for a calm and balanced group dynamic to ensure all dogs are happy and relaxed.

    - Resource guarding as this can pose a high risk to dogs and staff. This is unfortunately a behaviour that we cannot work with in the daycare environment, and we will advise that your dog may need to seek behavioural training before they may be assessed again.

    - Fence jumping, as it is very risky for dogs to be escaping the center or jumping from pen to pen.

    - Aggression towards dogs or staff.

    - Fence reactivity, as we are a indoor centre with fenced pens, this behaviour would be too disruptive to the group environment.

    - High levels of anxiety, where a dog cannot be managed and may need other behavioural training before they can be assessed again.

    - Excessively rough behaviours such as body bashing, grabbing/shaking ect These behaviours can be a risk to cause injury to dogs or staff.

    - Collar reactivity, where a dog will bite or mouth a handler's hand when their collar is touched.
